the Film Festival
So I have had a week to wind down and take care of all the misc things of wrapping up the film festival. All in all, things went really well. The festival became a much smaller event because of the amount of time that was put into the prep... (even in a film festival... PRE-PRODUCTION IS EVERYTHING)
The great thing about this festival was the live film shoot that I was able to produce with the great director, Robert Butler.
So far in my filmmaking career, that was probably the highlight, mainly because I was able to watch an incredible director at work. Just being in his presence, made me feel like I was growing as a filmmaker and a director.
The best part about Robert Butler was that he was not at all what you would think with old Hollywood. The nicest, kindest person I have met... and also sharp and precise as a whip for a man pushing 80.
There probably will be more images along the way later, but for right now:

EDIT: See the huge bag underneath my eyes? That's from five days without sleep to make sure the film festival would go off without a hitch. Damn was that hard, but like I said.... it was definitely worth it.
